Madison County Commissioners Sworn In

On Monday December 5, 2022 the three newest members of the Madison County Board of Commissioners were sworn in. William Briggs, Jeremy Hensley, and Alan Wyatt were all given their oaths of office by Matt Rupp, the new district court judge. After the swearing in ceremony, they held their organizational meeting and voted unanimously to put Col. Rodney Honeycutt as the interim county manager. This is the first time in 28 years that Madison County has had a republican majority on the Board of Commissioners. Matthew Wechtel was voted in as chairman and Michael Garrison was made vice chairman. Thank you to all of those who supported our candidates. We are looking forward to what these men will do.
